BIOGRAPHY

Chilean soprano and professor of Musical Education graduated from the University of Concepción, Chile. She has been part of the Center de Perfection Placido Domingo program at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, and studied at the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid. She recently graduated from the Reina Sofía Higher School of Music where she has studied with teachers Ryland Davies, Francisco Araiza and Susan Bullock.

In this season she debuted the role of Corinna in Il viaggio a Reims by G. Rossini under the musical direction of Paolo Bortolameolli and stage direction of Emilio Sagi at the Municipal Theater of Santiago de Chile, and she has played the role of Norina in Don Pasquale de G. Donizetti concert version under the musical direction of Pedro Pablo Prudencio in the same opera house. She has sung the roles of Manon in Manon by J. Massenet under the musical direction of Pedro Pablo Prudencio and the stage direction of Emilio Sagi, Musetta in La Bohème by G. Puccini, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni by W.A. Mozart, Mercedes in Carmen by G. Bizet, Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore by G. Donizetti, Despina in Cosi fan Tutte by W.A. Mozart, Clarice in Il mondo della luna by J. Haydn and Bastiana in Bastien und Bastienne by W.A. Mozart, the latter two performed at the Palau de les Arts, Valencia. She was part of the Rossini Opera Festival held in the city of Pesaro, Italy, as part of the Accademia Rossiniana “Alberto Zedda” 2021 performing the role of Madama Cortese in Il Viaggio a Reims by G. Rossini.

She participated with the role of Michelina in the second world performance of the opera Il buon Tempone by the Spanish composer Francisco Asenjo Barbieri, rescued and premiered in 2021 in Madrid, and performed again in Fuenlabrada in January 2022.

In Opera Competitions she has won the second prize in the III Compostela Lírica Singing Contest, and prize for Best Zarzuela Performer in the Ciudad de Logroño International Singing Contest. As a chamber music performer and member of the Lilium Duo with the pianist Eve Kerloch, he won first prize in the IV International Lied and Concert Song Contest “Francisco Torrecillas”, city of Albox, second prize in the Pedro Bote Young Musicians Competition , city of Villafranca los Barros, and award for Best Interpretation of a piece by Antón García Abril in the 10th edition of the International Chamber Competition of the same name, in the city of Baza, Granada.

In symphonic repertoire he has sung Petite Messe Solennelle by G. Rossini together with Europa Galante with Fabio Biondi, Coronation Mass, Exsultate Jubilate and Requiem by W.A. Mozart, Te Deum in D major by M.A. Charpentier, Stabat Mater by Pergolesi, and premiered in Chile the Stabat Mater de Poulenc with the orchestra and choir of Teatro Universidad de Chile.
