BIOGRAPHY
Olga Peretyatko, one of the world’s most sought-after sopranos, made herinternational break-through after winning Plácido Domingo’s prestigiousOperalia Competition. Since then, she has been a regular guest at the world’smost important opera houses and concert halls.
In the 2023/24 season, Olga Peretyatko makes her role debut as Norma at theStaatsoper Hamburg. She also reprises one of her signature roles, Fiorilla inRossini’s Il turco in Italia at the Opernhaus Zürich and returns to theStaatsoper Berlin to sing Elettra in Mozart’s Idomeneo and Leila in Bizet’s Lespêcheurs de perles. In Italy, she sings Magda de Civry in a new productionof La rondine at the Teatro Regio Torino and Donna Anna in a new productionof Don Giovanni at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna. On the concert stage,Olga Peretyatko debuts the role of Leonora in a concert performance ofVerdi’s Il trovatore at the Musikfest Bremen. She can also be seen performingRachmaninoff’s “The Bells” together with the Orchestre de Paris at the Grandesalle Pierre Boulez in Paris and presenting a program called “Mozart and Salieri”with the Danish Chamber Orchestra under Ádám Fischer at the Mozart Week inSalzburg. Additionally, the soprano gives several recitals around the world suchas a recital with the tenor Marius Vlad Budoiu at the George Enescu Festival inBucharest and a recital at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, where – joined bythe pianist Semjon Skigin – she presents works by Clara Schumann and PaulineViardot.
